- (a)督導及執行英文新聞的日常工作，包括採訪、編輯、副編輯、新聞報導及節目製作；
- (b)統籌及執行工作計劃及工作編排、監察編輯事宜及節目╱工作質素；及
- (c)管理及統籌員工與其他資源。

或需不定時工作和輪班當值，和在颱風，黑色暴雨警告及其他緊急情況下工作。

職責
A Senior Programme Officer in English News is mainly deployed on
- (a)supervising and implementing the daily work of English News, including reporting, editing, subediting, news presentation and programme production;
- (b)organising and implementing work plans and assignments, monitoring editorial issues and programme / work quality; and
- (c)managing and coordinating staff and other resources.
Note:
May be required to work irregular hours and shifts; and to work during typhoons, Rainstorm Black Warning and other emergencies.

申請人必須：
- (a)
- (i)持有香港的大學所頒發學位，或具同等學歷；兼具七年新聞採訪及／或編輯相關的工作經驗；或
- (ii)持有香港的專上院校頒授經評審的副學士學位或獲認可的高級文憑，主修相關或有關連的學科（新聞學及傳理學、創意媒體、媒體學科），或具同等學歷；兼具九年相關工作經驗；或
- (iii)持有香港的專上院校頒授獲認可的文憑，主修相關或有關連的學科（新聞學及傳理學、創意媒體、媒體學科），或具同等學歷；兼具十一年相關工作經驗；或
- (iv)在香港高級程度會考考獲兩科及格，及在香港中學會考另外三科成績達C級或以上（可包括中國語文科及英國語文科考獲第3等級成績），或具同等學歷；或在香港中學文憑考試五科(可包括中國語文科及英國語文科)考獲第3級或同等(註1)或以上成績，或具同等學歷；兼具十二年相關工作經驗；或
- (v)在香港中學會考英國語文科考獲第2等級或以上成績，另有四科成績達E級或以上或具同等學歷；或在香港中學文憑考試五科(須包括英國語文科)考獲第2級或同等(註1)或以上成績，或具同等學歷；兼具十三年相關工作經驗；及
- (b)符合語文能力要求，即在香港中學會考或香港中學文憑考試英國語文科考獲第2等級或以上成績，或具同等成績。
Candidates should have
- (a)
- (i)a Hong Kong Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, and 7 years’ relevant experience relating to news reporting and/or news editorial work; or
- (ii)an accredited associate degree or an accredited higher diploma in a relevant or related discipline (Journalism and Communication, Creative Media, Media Studies) from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 9 years’ relevant experience; or
- (iii)an accredited diploma in a relevant or related discipline (Journalism and Communication, Creative Media, Media Studies) from a Hong Kong tertiary institution, or equivalent; and 11 years’ relevant experience; or
- (iv)a pass in 2 subjects at advanced level in the Hong Kong Advanced Level Examination and Grade C or above in 3 other subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) (which may include Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language), or equivalent; or Level 3 or equivalent [See Note (1)] or above in five subjects in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE) (which may include Level 3 in Chinese Language and English Language), or equivalent; and 12 years’ relevant experience; or
- (v)Level 2 or above in English language together with 4 other subjects at Grade E or above in the HKCEE, or equivalent; or Level 2 or equivalent [See Note (1)] or above in five subjects in the HKDSEE (which should include English Language), or equivalent; and 13 years’ relevant experience; and
- (b)met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in English Language in the HKCEE or HKDSEE, or equivalent.
入職條件(註)
- (1)政府在聘任公務員時，香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目(最多計算兩科)「達標並表現優異」成績，以及其他語言科目C級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第3級成績；香港中學文憑考試應用學習科目(最多計算兩科)「達標」成績，以及其他語言科目E級成績，會被視為相等於新高中科目第2級成績。
- (2)政府在聘任公務員時，過往香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科(課程乙)C級與E級的成績，在行政上會視為等同2007年或之後香港中學會考中國語文科和英國語文科分別第3等級與第2等級的成績。
- (3)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，所有公務員職位的招聘，均會包括《基本法》知識的評核。申請人如獲邀參加遴選面試，會獲安排於面試當日參加《基本法》筆試。筆試會於面試開始前或結束後舉行。申請人在《基本法》知識測試的表現，是評核其整體表現的其中一個考慮因素。
- (4)於職位申請截止日起計三個月內將取得訂明學歷的申請人，亦可申請。申請人需圓滿考獲所要求學術資格方獲考慮聘任。
- (5)申請人須在試音及筆試合格，方獲進一步考慮。
- (6)申請人出席招聘面試，須於事前或事後提供文件證明其具備相關學歷和經驗。
