- (a)訓練、指導及監管懲教院所內的在囚人士從事洗燙行業工作；(b)監管工序包括但不限於洗滌、烘乾、壓燙、滾燙及整理、包裝、品質管理、梘料使用、物料預算、機器安全操作及一般保養；(c)協助工藝導師擬備職業訓練教材及教授有關課程；(d)執行職安健守則及相關規例；以及(e)執行其他指派職務。 <br> <br>註：獲聘人士須受《監獄條例》約束，穿著制服、或須輪班當值及在部門宿舍居住。

Instructor (Laundry)
一般紀律人員(員佐級)薪級表第3點(每月20,690元)至一般紀律人員(員佐級)薪級表第20點(每月34,910元)。
職責
- (a)training, instructing and supervising persons in custody in correctional institutions engaged in laundry work;
- (b)overseeing work processes including washing, drying, pressing, calendering and finishing, packaging, quality assurance, application of detergent chemicals, materials estimation, safe use and maintenance of laundry equipment;
- (c)assisting Technical Instructor in preparing vocational training materials and teaching related classes;
- (d)enforcing the Code of Practice on Occupational Safety & Health and related regulations; and
- (e)performing any other duties as assigned. <br> <br>(Note: Subject to the provisions of the Prisons Ordinance; the appointee may be required to wear uniform, work shifts and live in departmental quarters.)
入職條件
- (a)完成洗燙處理/工藝或麻布分配及管理的學徒訓練或院校訓練課程；或能出示證明，顯示在洗燙操作方面具備至少五年工作經驗[參閱入職條件註(1)]；(b)中、英文語文能力相當於中三程度；並能操流利粵語及簡單英語；以及(c)須接受及通過洗燙工藝的技能測驗及能力傾向測驗[參閱入職條件註(2)]。
- (a)have completed an apprenticeship or institutional training in laundry processing/operation or linen distribution and management; or be able to furnish evidence that they have had at least 5 years' experience in laundry operation

- (b)have attained a level of proficiency in Chinese and English Languages equivalent to Form 3 standard; and be able to speak fluent Cantonese and simple English; and
- (c)undergo and pass a trade test in laundry operation and an aptitude test

- (1)申請人須在申請表格內清楚列明其相關的工作經驗。 <br>
- (2)只有通過洗燙工藝的技能測驗、能力傾向測驗及其後的面試的申請人才會獲考慮聘任。 <br>
- (3)為提高大眾對《基本法》的認知和在社區推廣學習《基本法》的風氣，政府會測試應徵公務員職位人士的《基本法》知識。只會在兩位申請人的整體表現相若時，政府才會參考申請人在基本法知識測試中的表現。
